Other places you want to be sure to see is the Golden Pioneer Museum, Cosmic Caverns, Dogwood Canyon and of course Silver Dollar City. Some of the best fishing in the country is found on Table Rock Lake and especially in and around Shell Knob. Many fishing tournaments are held on the lake each year. There are plenty of Bass, Crappie and other kinds of fish in the lake for your patience and taking. That's why we say, now is the time to get your "Bass" down here.

Our CCC Camp & Recreation Park about 1 1/2 miles east on Highway YY. It is equipped with a pavilion, a kitchen and picnic tables. The recreation park has a volleyball court, a children's playground, a croquet court, tennis and basketball court. There is a wooden "scenic overlook" of the lake, bridge and our annual fireworks display can be seen from the overlook just across the lake. Shell Knob even has a small airport. It has a north / south. 3900 foot grass landing strip. One of the owners always says "do a fly by and then land." They have tie downs, but you need to bring your own ropes.
